Africana means information resources published in and about the history, politics and culture of the people of South Africa. Special focus is given to Africana related to the Free State Province of South Africa and the Anglo-Boer War.

Opening times
The Africana Collection on Level 6 of the Sasol Library, Bloemfontein Campus, University of the Free State is open weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 08:00 to 16:30.
Access conditions and requirements
The physical collection may only be used by staff and registered students of the University of the Free State and only inside the Africana Reading Room. The digital collection is available to anyone unless an item may not be made available online. In such cases, a user may request access to the item, digitally or in person.
